Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver men's tennis team defeated Colorado Mesa 5-4 to earn the 2017 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference tournament championship title.
The Roadrunners took one doubles match as junior
Josh Graetz (Albury, Australia/The Scots School) and sophomore
Joey Tscherne (Sylmar, Calif./John F. Kennedy H.S.) won their No. 1 doubles match 8-3.

Calum Hayes (Leeds, England/Guiseley H.S.) clinched the match for the Roadrunners taking the match in three sets for the Roadrunners to earn the 5-4 win over the Mavericks.
