Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver women's soccer team will travel to Texas to begin its 2017 campaign.  The Roadrunners will take on Dallas Baptist Thursday, August 31 at 7 p.m. CT in Dallas, Texas.  The team will travel to Austin to take on St. Edward's on Saturday, September 2 at 1 p.m CT.
 
MSU Denver is coming off the 2016 season going 8-6-4 overall and 6-4-2 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. The Roadrunners fell to Colorado School of Mines in the semifinals of the RMAC Championship tournament.
 
The Roadrunners bring back six starters and add seven newcomers to the 2017 roster. The team will be coach in her first season by Tracy Chao.
