Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver women's soccer team returns home this weekend to host two games. The team will play its first game at home against Seattle Pacific University at 3 p.m. on Thursday, September 7.  They will also host No. 1 Western Washington on Sunday, September 10 at 12 p.m. at the Regency Athletic Complex.
 
The Roadrunners kicked off the season splitting a road trip to Texas. The team defeated Dallas Baptist in the first match of year by a score of 1-0, but then fell in their follow-up match in extra time against St. Edwards University 1-0.
 
Seattle Pacific is 1-0 on the season, defeating Chico State 3-2 in its season opener.
 
The defending National Champions of Western Washington is 1-0 to start the season. The Vikings defeated Holy Names University 7-1 last weekend.
