DENVER – Metropolitan State University of Denver women's golf coach
Stefanie Ferguson announced the signing of Sydney Eye (Golden, Colo./Ralston Valley HS) to the 2019 roster on Friday. Eye is a talented and accomplished addition who has starred in the Colorado golf ranks throughout her high school career.

- Three-year letterwinner at Ralston Valley under coach Wendy Davies with senior season remaining
- Colorado 5A First Team All-State her sophomore season (2017), helping Ralston Valley to a 5A girls golf state championship
- First Team All-Jeffco League, 2016-2018
- 2018 Ralston Valley Girls Golf Team MVP after being crowned Jeffco League individual champion
- Named Outstanding Academic Athlete, 2016-2018
- Participated in Junior Golf Alliance of Colorado and Rocky Mountain Junior Golf Tour
- Intends to major in business management with a concentration in legal studies and minor in Spanish at MSU Denver
Ferguson on Eye: "Sydney is a tremendous athlete and golfer. She is going to come in and make an immediate impact on our team. We are so excited to have her staying in state and joining us next fall.
