MSU Denver had a league-leading 15 student-athletes recognized Tuesday as the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference released its women's soccer All-Academic first team and All-Academic honor rolls.

Senior goalkeeper
Erica Torres (3.55 grade-point average while majoring in history) and senior midfielder
Mackayla Duerksen (3.83, elementary education), made the honor roll for the third time, while junior defender-forward
Jordan Lewis (3.80, exercise science) was honored for the second time.

Also earning honor roll status from MSU Denver were: seniors
Brooklynn Mooney (3.32, aviation and aerospace science),
Kayla Sheppard (3.69, accounting) and
Bry Sanchez (3.36, biology), junior
Mariah Rex (3.82, psychology) and sophomores
Miriam Caballero (3.46, political science),
Elisa Dean (3.88, piano performance)
Katy Harris (3.30, biology),
Melissa Jung (3.71, nursing),
Jessica Mooney (3.51, aviation and aerospace science),
Riley Ostler (3.73, nursing),
Jaimy Sawaged (3.39, exercise science) and
Elli Zimmer (3.67, sport management).

Regis' Tori Rinsem was named the RMAC's Women's Soccer Academic Player of the Year.

Torres is a four-year starter for MSU Denver and is among the program's all-time leaders in wins (tied for fifth, 29), saves (second, 268), saves per game (fourth, 4.19), save percentage (seventh, .822), shutouts (tied for third, 25) and goals-against average (sixth, 0.91).

Lewis is tied for the team-high with four goals this season.
Brooklynn Mooney was an All-RMAC honorable mention midfielder last season, while cousin
Jessica Mooney has two goals this season after leading the team with six assists last year.

The award winner, along with the other 11 RMAC All-Academic first-team members, were voted on by the RMAC's sports information directors. To be eligible for consideration, the student-athlete must carry a 3.30 cumulative grade point average and must have been an active student at the institution for at least two consecutive semesters, or three consecutive quarters.
