INDIANAPOLIS – The Metropolitan State University of Denver men's tennis team has maintained its grasp of the No. 5 spot in the latest South Central Region poll.

The latest poll takes into account matches played through Sunday, so Tuesday's important win over Colorado State University-Pueblo hasn't  yet been included in the regional ranking committee's evaluation.

The Roadrunners are 9-8 overall, and while only four teams will advance to postseason play, MSU Denver will now wait until May 7 to hear about its postseason fate. The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference doesn't sponsor a championship in men's tennis. Texas-Permian Basin is fourth in the regional rankings and is off until the Lone Star Conference tournament.

The South Central Region consists of teams from the RMAC, Heartland and Lone Star Conferences.

No. 17 Cameron (Okla.) of the Lone Star Conference is the top-ranked team in the region. The Aggies have a 16-3 record overall.
