DENVER – On this date, Oct. 6, 2006, Kylee Hanavan extended her MSU Denver women's soccer program-record streak of games with at least one point to 13 with a two-goal, two-assist performance in the No. 9 Roadrunners' 5-0 win over No. 8 Montana State-Billings.
 
Hanavan had 17 goals and 11 assists over those 13 games.
 
The Roadrunners improved to 13-1.
 
That performance highlights our latest installment of "On This Date in Roadrunners History," which looks back at the biggest accomplishments in MSU Denver athletics on that particular calendar day.

2019 – Benjamin Brill scored with 7:29 left in regulation as the MSU Denver men's soccer team played Colorado School of Mines to a 1-1 tie, putting the Orediggers at 7-2-1 overall and 5-0-1 in the RMAC.
 
2018 – Taylor Duryea had 12 kills and 13 digs as the MSU Denver volleyball team won 3-0 (25-20, 25-21, 25-18) at Dixie State for its third straight sweep and fourth straight victory, improving to 12-6 overall and 8-2 in the RMAC.
 
2018 – Sabrina Rautter placed third to lead the MSU Denver women's cross country team to fourth in a field of 12 at the Roadrunner Invitational. Rautter ran 6,000 meters in 22 minutes, 10.4 seconds.
 
2017 – Ainsley Winterrowd won 2-6, 6-0, 10-5 at No. 5 singles to highlight the MSU Denver women's tennis team's 7-2 win over Dixie State. The Roadrunners went on to beat host Colorado Mesa 9-0 later in the day.
 
2013 – Karisa Price had two goals and an assist as the MSU Denver women's soccer team won 4-0 at Colorado Christian, improving to 7-0-3 overall and 5-0-1 in the RMAC.
 
2012 – Kirk Harvey placed second and Nick Kadlec was seventh in a field of 85 to lead the MSU Denver men's cross country team to third in a field of seven at the Roadrunner Invitational. Harvey ran 8,000 meters in 26:20.
 
2012 – Janelle Lincks finished seventh in a field of 71 to lead the MSU Denver women's cross country team to second place in the seven-team Roadrunner Invitational. Lincks ran 6,000 meters in 24:02.
 
*2012 – Gabriel Vlahos (No. 1), Adrien Delvaux (No. 2), John Qualls (No. 3) and Jonathan Evangelista (No. 4) all won three-set singles matches as MSU Denver rallied for a 5-4 victory at Colorado Mesa in men's tennis. Qualls won 16-14 in the third. The Roadrunners later beat Colorado Christian 9-0.
 
2012 – Kelly Vu won her No. 6 singles match 2-6, 6-4, 11-9 to lift the MSU Denver women's tennis team to a 5-4 win over Colorado Mesa. The Roadrunners defeated Colorado Christian 9-0 later in the day.
 
 2007 – Julie Green-McFarland had 17 kills as the MSU Denver volleyball team won 3-0 (30-27, 31-29, 30-13) at CSU-Pueblo for its third straight sweep.
 
2006 – Julie Green-McFarland had 19 kills on .469 hitting as the MSU Denver volleyball team beat Western Colorado 3-0 (30-24, 30-27, 30-25) to improve to 7-4 in the RMAC.
 
*2003 – Aldo Alcaraz-Reza had a goal and an assist in the first 12:09 as the MSU Denver men's soccer team scored three goals in the first 21:22 and won 4-0 at No. 16 Northeastern State (Okla).
 
2002 – Beth Vercic had 13 kills on .667 hitting, and Nicki Fusco also added 13 kills as the No. 13 MSU Denver volleyball team beat UCCS 3-0 (30-22, 30-16, 30-23) for its ninth straight win to improve to 14-4 overall and 9-0 in the RMAC.
 
2002 – Alex Grecu and Blake Carson scored goals as the MSU Denver men's soccer team knocked off previously unbeaten St. Mary's (Texas) 2-0, dropping the Rattlers to 7-1-3.
 
2000 – Marina Bazana had 21 kills on .471 hitting as the No. 25 MSU Denver volleyball team won 3-0 (15-10, 17-15, 15-4) at Fort Lewis for its third straight sweep to improve to 16-4 overall and 10-1 in the RMAC.
 
1996 – Tarena O'Neill had a goal and an assist as the MSU Denver women's soccer team beat Colorado Mesa 3-0.
 
1995 – Stacey Hoyt had 21 kills as the MSU Denver volleyball team beat Air Force 3-0 (15-11, 15-8, 15-4).
 
1992 – Jeremy Loring scored in the 35^th minute as the MSU Denver men's soccer team beat Colorado Christian 1-0.
 
1991 – Rosie Durbin had two goals and two assists as the MSU Denver women's soccer team beat College of the Southwest (N.M.) 6-2.
 
1990 – Dana Stright had 13 kills on .461 hitting in the opening match, then followed up with 16 kills and 19 digs in the nightcap as the MSU Denver volleyball team beat Colorado School of Mines 3-0 (15-4, 15-4, 15-10) and host Colorado Mesa 3-2 (0-15, 15-6, 15-17, 15-10, 15-6).
 
1989 – Chris Loptien and Tim Yunger had second-half goals as the MSU Denver men's soccer team broke free after being tied 1-1 at halftime to earn a 3-1 at Westminster.
 
1988 – Two days after teammate D.J. Ruder had three assists, Chino Melendez got three assists of his own in a 4-2 win at Regis. Chris Kalman scored two goals.
 
1984 – With a lineup that included Donna Baros (2.6 kills per set, 3.1 digs per set, 0.8 blocks per set), the MSU Denver volleyball team beat Colorado Mesa 3-2 (15-2, 15-9, 11-15, 11-15, 15-5).
 
1978 – The MSU Denver volleyball team, en route to a 36-3 season, beat College of Santa Fe (N.M.) 3-0 (15-4, 15-2, 15-6) to improve to 9-0. The Roadrunners' Anita Mathes would earn Colorado Sportswoman of the Year.
