DENVER – On this date, May 27, 2010, MSU Denver's Rick Bogatay qualified for the finals in the men's 1,500 meters at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Charlotte, N.C.
Bogatay finished fifth in his heat and 11
th overall with a time of 3 minutes, 52.09 seconds. Carl Arnold III also ran in the 1,500 but just missed qualifying.

2010 – No. 19 Angelo State (Texas) upset No. 4 MSU Denver 10-3 in the first round of the double-elimination NCAA Division II Softball Championships in St. Joseph, Mo. MSU Denver was called for 20 illegal pitches in the first three innings, contributing to four early runs for the Rambelles. Tara Mickelson had a double, a homer and three RBIs for the Roadrunners.
