DENVER -- The MSU Denver Roadrunners men's and women's outdoor track and field programs saw 18 student-athletes (11 men, 7 women) named to the RMAC's Academic Honor Roll list, along with
Sean Pecenka taking home first team All-Academic honors, the conference announced Thursday afternoon.
Pecenka carried a perfect 4.0 GPA while majoring in Mechanical Engineering Technology. He earned second team honors for his performance in the men's 110-meter hurdles event at the RMAC Chmpionships. He placed sixth overall with a time of 14.94.
In order to be named to the Academic Honor Roll, student athletes must have participated with the team in the most recent semester while carrying a 3.30 GPA or higher.
The men had a total of nine athletes named while the women were tabbed with seven.
