Eye was among the leaders most of the day after scoring birdies on two of her first four holes, and she was even through nine holes before eventually finishing at 8-over-par 80. Botero had a birdie on her final hole, giving her a 3-over 39 for her final nine holes to also finish at 80. They are tied for 52
nd in the 104-player field.
Winnie Shaw, who had two birdies, is tied for 61
st at 9-over.
The Roadrunners shot 36-over 324 and finished just nine strokes out of the top 10. The second and final round takes place Tuesday.
