USAFA, Colo. – Brothers Jack and Billy McDemott combined for a doubles victory, and
David Kijak earned MSU Denver's only point with a victory at No. 5 singles as the Roadrunners fell 6-1 to Division I Weber State in a men's tennis exhibition dual on Saturday.
The McDermott brothers won 7-6 at No. 1 doubles, but Weber State won the other two doubles matches for the doubles point.
Kijak won at No. 5 singles 5-7, 6-3, 1-0 (13-11) over Jordan Coutinho.
At No. 1 singles,
Jeanloup Auzias went to a super set before losing 6-4, 6-7, 1-0 (10-8).
The Roadrunners play another Division I exhibition next Saturday against Denver.
