@MSUDenverTennis: Roadrunners Teams to Play Duals in California

Weather has altered the original schedule against PacWest teams

DENVER – The MSU Denver men's and women's tennis teams are headed to California to test their mettle against teams from the Pacific West Conference.

Due to expected rain in Fresno, where the Roadrunners were to compete from Sunday through Wednesday, the schedule has been altered.

The changes take place immediately, with both the men's and women's teams playing Holy Names (Calif.) tonight at 8 p.m. MDT.

Both teams play twice Sunday. The men face Hawaii-Hilo and the women play Academy of Art (Calif.), both at 10 a.m. MDT, and then both teams play host Fresno Pacific (Calif.) at 3 p.m. MDT.

The women are also scheduled to play Dominican (Calif.) at 9 a.m. MDT on Tuesday.

The MSU Denver men (7-3) are ranked No. 35 in NCAA Division II, while the Roadrunners' women (8-4) were ranked No. 36 before falling out of the computerized top 50 rankings provided by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association despite winning twice.

On the men's side, Hawaii-Hilo is 2-5, Fresno Pacific is 1-6 and Holy Names is 0-8. For the women, Academy of Art is 4-4, Dominican 4-4, Fresno Pacific is 3-5 and Holy Names is 1-8.
