SURPRISE, Ariz. – The MSU Denver men's and women's tennis programs have placed nine student-athletes on the Academic All-Pacific West Conference team.
For the men, the list includes
Jeanloup Auzias,
Dayton Fisher,
David Kijak and
Billy McDermott,
Jack McDermott, while the honored women are Marie Cool, Kinsey Fields, Isabel Heras, Kayla Myburgh and Lilly Stienemeier.
In order to receive Academic All-PacWest recognition, student-athletes must have been at their current school for at least one year, must have played in at least one competition in the last school year and must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
Kijak has been honored for the third consecutive year, while Auzias, Fisher and McDermott are two-time honorees.
For the women, Cool, Heras and Myburgh are three-time selections, and Stienemeier has been recognized for the second time.
