INDIANAPOLIS – Mia Salas was announced as an individual qualifier for the NCAA DII Women's Cross Country Championship that will take place on Saturday, November 23 at 11:15 a.m. PST in Sacramento, Calif.
 
"Mia came to MSU Denver and took a chance to compete at altitude and earn her Master's degree," said Head Coach Janis Christopher.  "Last year was a hard transition and she decided to come back for her final cross country season.  Qualifying for the national meet is a result of her hard work and dedication."
 
Salas was the top finisher for the Roadrunners at the 2024 NCAA DII Cross Country South Central Regional held at Washington Park last weekend.  Salas placed 33rd in the 6,000-meter race in a time of 23:09.2.
