Box Score 2 FRESNO, Calif. -- The MSU Denver men's and women's tennis teams split their matches with the men defeating Point Loma 4-1 and the women falling to Dominican (Calif.) 4-2.
 
Alejandro Jimenez led the way for the Roadrunners at No. 1 singles defeating 19th-ranked Alexander Leischner 7-5, 7-6 (7).  At No. 2 singles, 
Juho Kantola defeated Andrew Suver 6-4, 6-4 while 
Jeanloup Auzias defeated David Strassburger 6-2, 6-4. 
Marco Jalalian won 6-3, 6-3 over Matt Melosch at No. 4 singles to clinch the match in favor of the Roadrunners.
 
Emily Hafner teamed up with 
Lilly Stienemeier to earn a victory in their No. 2 doubles match 6-2. At No. 3 doubles, 
Hanna Haber and 
Kambra Roles won 6-4 and earned the Roadrunners the doubles point.  Roles also picked up the only victory for MSU Denver in the singles matches defeating Haley Garcia 6-2, 4-6, 6-1 at the No. 5 position. 
 
The men's tennis team moves to 6-11 on season while the women's team falls to 5-11.
 
The Roadrunners will take on Colorado College on Sunday, March 31 at 10 a.m. in Colorado Springs, Colo.
