IRVINE, Calif. – Twelve MSU Denver tennis players – six men and six women – have been named to the All-Academic All-Pacific West Conference team.
To qualify, student-athletes have to achieve at least a cumulative 3.0 grade-point average, completed at least two semesters at their institution and participated in regular season competition.
Leading the list for the Roadrunners is
Emily Hafner, who was recently named to the Academic All-America third team by College Sports Communicators. Joining her on the All-PacWest list are teammates
Lilly Stienemeier,
Courtenay Leonard,
Monica Guarin,
Hanna Haber and
Kim Heddes. MSU Denver men who have earned PacWest honors are
Jeanloup Auzias,
Maximo Lawlor,
Shane Garner,
Marco Jalalian,
Reid Rainwater and
Kai Trujillo.
Hafner, Stienemeier, Leonard, Auzias and Lawlor earlier were named to the CSC Academic All-District team.
