TUCSON, Ariz. – MSU Denver's men's and women's tennis teams, as well as seven individuals, recently earned academic honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

Maximo Lawlor and
Shane Garner, as well as women's players
Emily Hafner,
Courtenay Leonard and
Lilly Stienemeier, were named ITA Scholar-Athletes.
Both MSU Denver teams were named ITA All-Academic Teams.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, student-athletes must have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 for the current academic year.
To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must have a team grade point average of 3.2 or higher.
