PUEBLO, Colo. — MSU Denver's Neige Dunn delivered a career performance in Monday's opening round of the CSU Pueblo Fall Invitational at Pueblo Country Club, firing a career-low 69 (-2) to grab the individual lead after 18 holes.
Dunn's 69 marks the third-best round in program history and the first under-par round by a Roadrunner since Vaijayanti Bharkhada carded a 69 (-3) on September 19, 2023. Her stellar round included four birdies and steady play throughout both nines, putting her atop a competitive field heading into Tuesday's final round.
The rest of the MSU Denver lineup saw Izabella Pesicka (+8, 79), Ainsley Stover (+9, 80), Lauren Mack (+13, 84), and Rien Solodan (+17, 88) round out the team's scores as the Roadrunners look to climb the leaderboard on day two.
With Dunn pacing the field and setting a new personal best, MSU Denver is in strong position to make a move in the team standings at Pueblo Country Club.
