PUEBLO, Colo. — MSU Denver women's golf wrapped up play at the CSU Pueblo Fall Invitational on Tuesday at Pueblo Country Club, highlighted by another strong performance from Neige Dunn, who earned a top-five finish, and a big final-round surge from Izabella Pesicka.
After a record-setting start on Monday, Dunn followed up her career-low 69 (-2) with a solid 77 (+6) in the final round to finish tied for fourth overall at 4-over (146). Her opening-round 69 marked the third-best round in program history and was the first under-par score by a Roadrunner since September 2023. Dunn's consistency throughout the tournament capped off one of the best individual performances of her MSU Denver career.
Pesicka delivered the best round of the day for the Roadrunners on Tuesday, firing a 1-over 73 to move up 33 spots on the leaderboard and finish tied for 14th at 10-over (152). Her round included three birdies and sharp iron play that fueled one of the biggest jumps of any golfer in the field.
Ainsley Stover improved by four strokes from her opening round, carding a 76 (+5) to place 37th overall (156), while Lauren Mack turned in rounds of 84 (+13) and 83 (+12) to finish 90th. Rien Solodan rounded out the lineup in 101st, matching her opening 88 (+17) in both rounds.
Dunn's top-five finish and Pesicka's strong closing round capped an encouraging end to the fall portion of MSU Denver's schedule, setting the stage for continued success when the Roadrunners return to action in the spring.
