Box Score 2 DENVER, Colo. -- The MSU Denver Roadrunners men's and women's tennis programs dropped their home matches with Colorado College Sunday afternoon, with both teams falling by a score of 5-2.
The men's team moves to 9-12 overall and 5-4 in Pacific West conference play. The women's team falls to 10-12 overall and 4-4 in conference play.
MEN
Marco Jalalian and
Hector Cebrian Moral were the two Roadrunners to capture a win in their singles matches. Jalalian took down Dominik Kaminski in two sets (6-1, 6-3). Cebrian Moral won his match with only losing two points in total (6-1, 6-1).
Alejandro Jimenez and
Enzo Inghilterra put up a good fight, going three sets in their matches but would fall short. Jimenez went 1-6, 6-3, 8-10 while Inghilterra went 4-6, 6-4, 3-10.
WOMEN
Hanna Haber and Victoria Ricaurte Cabas opened up doubles play with a win on court one by a score of 6-4 over Lucia Moravek and Aspen Young.
Kim Heddes and
Kambra Roles lost a close one on court two, 7-5.
Roles went the full three sets in single play, and came out on top (6-7, 6-2, 10-4).
Louise Hosking took home the other point for MSU Denver, winning on court six in her singles match (7-5, 2-6, 10-5).
Haber dropped a close match against Kala Komanduri by a score of 3-6, 7-6, 3-10.

The men will play their final match of the season and host Senior Day this upcoming Friday against Colorado Mesa at 2:30 p.m. MT. The women will also host Senior Day on Friday against Colorado Mesa with the same start time.
