PUEBLO, Colo. – The MSU Denver women's golf team closed out the Southern Colorado Open on Monday at Walking Stick Golf Course, finishing 10th overall with a two-round score of 626 (+50) in the final tournament of the event.

After opening play on Sunday, the Roadrunners showed improvement in Monday's final round, tightening up their play and finding more consistency across the lineup on a challenging course.

Izabella Pesicka once again led MSU Denver, finishing at +7 overall after a 74 in Round 2. Pesicka delivered one of the steadiest rounds of the day, highlighted by a clean front nine that featured a key birdie to keep her momentum going. She placed 14th overall individually. 

Rien Solodan made a strong push in the final round, carding a 75 (+3) to finish at +18 overall. After a tough start, Solodan settled in and played some of her best golf on the back nine to climb the leaderboard.

Neige Dunn turned in another solid performance, shooting 80 (+8) to finish at +14 overall, providing a reliable presence in the middle of the lineup with consistent scoring throughout her round.

Lauren Mack posted an 81 (+9) to finish at +17 overall, while Jordyn Horsley rounded things out with an 83 (+11), finishing at +20 overall.

As a team, the Roadrunners showed growth from round one to round two, cutting down on big mistakes and putting together a more complete final round. The performance helped MSU Denver secure a top-10 finish in a competitive field to wrap up play in Pueblo.

With the RMAC Championships on the horizon, the Roadrunners will look to build off Monday's final round as they continue their spring season.
