DENVER – MSU Denver Outdoor Track & Field will not compete this weekend as the Colorado School of Mines Pre-Conference Meet, scheduled for Friday and Saturday in Golden, has been canceled due to incoming weather.
The meet was set to serve as the final tune-up for the Roadrunners ahead of the Outdoor RMAC Championships, but shifting conditions forced the cancellation, altering MSU Denver's preparation schedule heading into the postseason.
With the change, the Roadrunners will now turn their full attention toward the RMAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, set for April 24-26 in Pueblo. The championship meet now sits just 10 days away, giving MSU Denver a brief window to regroup and prepare following a busy stretch of competition.
Despite missing their final regular-season opportunity, the Roadrunners carry momentum into the postseason after multiple strong performances across recent meets, positioning themselves well for a competitive showing at the conference championships.
