DENVER — Strong performances in both the classroom and on the field continued to define MSU Denver softball Wednesday afternoon as the Roadrunners placed seven student-athletes on the RMAC Academic honor lists announced by the conference office.
Leading the way for MSU Denver was senior pitcher Sam Mader, who earned First Team Academic All-RMAC honors after posting a 3.98 GPA in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences.
Mader was the lone Roadrunner selected to the conference's 13-player First Team Academic All-RMAC squad, which was voted on by the league's sports information directors. The senior from Lewiston, Idaho added another major accomplishment to an already impressive final season with the Roadrunners.
In total, seven MSU Denver student-athletes earned recognition on the RMAC Academic Honor Roll, which recognizes student-athletes who maintain at least a 3.30 cumulative GPA while meeting additional conference academic and participation requirements.

The RMAC announced a total of 89 softball student-athletes across the conference on the Academic Honor Roll, including 13 First Team Academic All-RMAC selections.
The recognition continued another strong year academically for the Roadrunners softball program, which paired success in competition with achievement in the classroom throughout the 2026 season.
