Gabe Curtis (Arvada, Colo./Ralston Valley H.S.) continued her steady play at the setter position, dishing out 32 assists, while adding three service aces.

Amanda Cook (Bellevue, Neb./Bellevue East H.S.) with six.
CSC came out firing in the first set, taking a 13-10 lead on seven unforced (four attack errors and three service errors) errors by the Roadrunners. But a kill by Morley sparked a 5-0 run that included two aces by Curtis to get Metro State back in control. Leading 20-17, Metro State scored four straight points to set up match point. The Eagles held off three match points before Mapes put the set away with a kill.
The second set also got off to a slow start early with the Roadrunners trailing 4-2. A Chadron State service error sparked an 8-0 run to give Metro State a 10-4 lead. The Roadrunners controlled play throughout the rest of the set, hitting .243 (18-9-37), despite CSC hitting .259 (8-1-27).
Metro State breezed through the final set, hitting .276 (12-4-29), while holding the Eagles to -.100 (4-7-30).
The Roadrunners continued to struggle with unforced errors with 12 service errors on the evening after having 15 in five sets on Friday. They also hit into seven blocks. But the back row defense proved to be the difference as the Eagles managed just 29 digs in the match, compared to 44 for Metro State.
