Game One
Brennan Brown (Thornton, Colo./Legacy H.S.) belted two home runs in the first two innings, including a grand slam in the second, as his seven runs batted in led the team to a 15-10 victory.

Corey Collins (Littleton, Colo./Chatfield H.S.) was roughed up for 15 hits, but went the distance to earn the win, improving to 6-2 this season.

Mines scored one in the top of the first, but Brown's three run blast down the left field line put the Roadrunners in front 3-1 in the bottom of the inning.

The Orediggers scored six in the top of the second, but Metro State matched that total in the bottom of the inning, scoring one on a single by David Kaplan (Colorado Springs, Colo./Doherty H.S.), another on a double by David Fox (Lakewood, Colo./Faith Christian H.S.) and four in Brown's grand slam to right.

Game Two
Nate Van Bibber (Littleton, Colo./Douglas County H.S.) tossed his first career shutout, blanking the Orediggers on eight hits. He improved to 3-1.

The Senior Day lineup took a little while to give Van Bibber some support, finally pushing across the first run in the third on a single by Fox that scored Krueger.

Metro State scored two more times in the fourth. Eric Lopez (Hayden, Ariz./Hayden H.S.) delivered an RBI single to right and Fox had a two-run double with two outs.

The Roadrunners broke it open with seven runs in the sixth on five hits. Krueger belted a three-run home run with nobody out.
