DENVER — Postseason recognition continued to pour in for MSU Denver baseball Wednesday morning as three Roadrunners earned spots on the ABCA/Rawlings South Central All-Region teams following standout 2026 campaigns.
Senior designated hitter Royce Vandine headlined the group with first team All-Region honors, while catcher Noah Wicks and outfielder Brooks Rasmussen were both selected to the second team All-Region squad.
The honor marked Vandine's third first team All-Region selection of the postseason after previously earning first-team recognition from both the NCBWA and D2CCA. Wicks also collected his third second team All-Region honor of the year after previously being recognized by the NCBWA and D2CCA, while Rasmussen earned his first all-region selection of the postseason.
Vandine capped off one of the best offensive seasons of his collegiate career by once again being recognized among the top designated hitters in the region.
The first team All-RMAC selection led the Roadrunners in home runs while setting career highs across the board offensively during his senior campaign. Vandine consistently delivered in key moments throughout the season, including one of the signature performances of the year against then-No. 1 Colorado Mesa University.
In that matchup, Vandine drove in seven runs to help MSU Denver snap the Mavericks' 24-game winning streak and perfect RMAC record in one of the program's biggest victories of the season.
Wicks continued his remarkable breakout year behind the plate by collecting another all-region honor after establishing himself as one of the top hitters in NCAA Division II.
The first team All-RMAC catcher led the RMAC in on-base percentage while ranking second in batting average and third in OPS. He also finished among the conference leaders in doubles, runs scored and hits throughout the spring.
Nationally, Wicks ranked third in Division II with a .456 batting average and produced some of the most dominant offensive stretches in the conference during the season. He posted a 17-game hitting streak and a 36-game on-base streak, both the longest by a Roadrunner during the 2026 campaign.
Wicks also recorded multiple five-hit performances and became the only RMAC player to tally six hits in a single game this season.
Rasmussen rounded out the Roadrunners' all-region selections after putting together one of the most complete all-around seasons on the roster.
The outfielder ranked second on the team with a .395 batting average while leading MSU Denver with 15 stolen bases. Rasmussen also earned Gold Glove All-RMAC honors after emerging as one of the top defensive outfielders in the conference.
Offensively, Rasmussen ranked among the Roadrunners' leaders in nearly every major category, finishing first on the team with 22 multi-hit games while recording a 17-game hitting streak during the season. He also ranked second on the team in hits with 66, third in runs scored with 50, third in doubles with 16, third in on-base percentage at .493 and fourth in walks with 25.
The trio of ABCA/Rawlings All-Region selections capped another successful season for the Roadrunners, who finished 38-18 overall and advanced to the NCAA South Central Regional for the second consecutive season.
