@MSUDenverBSB: Wicks Earns D2 Baseball Second Team All-America Honors

DENVER – Another postseason accolade has been added to an already historic season for MSU Denver baseball standout Noah Wicks, as D2 Baseball announced its 2026 All-America teams this week with Wicks earning Second Team All-America honors as a designated hitter.

The recognition adds to an impressive list of accomplishments for the Roadrunner senior, who previously earned First Team All-RMAC honors and multiple All-Region selections following one of the most productive offensive seasons in program history.

Wicks established himself as one of the premier hitters in NCAA Division II throughout the 2026 campaign, finishing among the conference and national leaders in several offensive categories. The senior ranked third in the nation with a .456 batting average while leading the RMAC in on-base percentage. He also finished second in the conference in batting average and third in OPS, serving as a catalyst for a Roadrunner offense that helped guide MSU Denver to a 38-18 record and NCAA Tournament appearance.

A consistent force in the lineup from opening day through the postseason, Wicks finished among the RMAC leaders in doubles, runs scored, and hits while routinely delivering in key moments throughout the season.

His consistency was unmatched, posting a 17-game hitting streak and a 36-game on-base streak, both of which were the longest by a Roadrunner during the 2026 season. Wicks also showcased his ability to take over games offensively, recording multiple five-hit performances and becoming the only player in the RMAC to collect six hits in a single game this season.

The D2 Baseball All-America honor further solidifies Wicks' place among the top players in the country and caps one of the finest individual offensive seasons in recent program history.

His selection also marks another milestone for a Roadrunner baseball program that enjoyed one of its most successful seasons in recent years, finishing with 38 wins and earning its fourth NCAA Tournament appearance in the last five seasons.
