PUEBLO, Colo. - Freshman Jeff Levett (Parker, Colo./Chaparral H.S.) connected on his first career home run in Metro State's 9-2 loss at Colorado State-Pueblo Friday night. The Roadrunners fell to 5-10 overall and 2-7 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, while CSUP improved to 8-11 and 5-4.

Levett hit his two-run shot with two outs in the third, scoring Austin Hearne (Denver/Thomas Jefferson H.S.) for the team's only runs of the game.

Starter Justin Arceneaux (Chino, Calif./Don Antonio Lugo H.S.) suffered the loss, allowing five earned runs on 13 hits in five innings. Tanner Roth (Arvada, Colo./Ralston Valley H.S.) held the ThunderWolves scoreless for two innings in relief, before giving up three runs in the bottom of the eighth.

The two teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday in Pueblo.
