Box Score GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Metro State was eliminated from the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference tournament 8-0 by No. 2/3 Colorado Mesa in Grand Junction, Colo. on Friday. The Roadrunners ended their season at 20-27 overall, while CMU improved to 42-8.

For the second day in a row, the Roadrunners were victimized by a complete game pitching performance, this one coming from RMAC pitcher of the year Matt Williams. The senior righthander scattered six hits and one walk, while striking out six.
Zac Baldini (Lakewood, Colo./Green Mountain H.S.) tagged him for a pair of doubles in three at bats, but he was stranded on base both times.
