Derek Stimpson (Colorado Springs/Doherty H.S.) was named RMAC pitcher of the week on Feb. 18 after pitching a complete game shutout against No. 15 St. Mary's (Texas), throwing seven innings and striking out five with just six hits allowed and no walks.

Nick Hammett (Broomfield, Colo./Broomfield H.S.) was named RMAC pitcher of the week on March 4 after pitching a complete game shutout, scattering three hits over nine innings against Colorado State-Pueblo.

Jake Thurston (Centennial, Colo./Grandview H.S.) returned to the lineup two weeks after getting hit in the face and having surgery to repair his face and nose, and went 2-for-5 in two starts at second base on March 15 vs. New Mexico Highlands.

Darryl Baca (Loveland, Colo./Loveland H.S.) is batting .476 (10-for-21) with seven RBIs and three home runs over the past six games.

Kevin Hand (Highlands Ranch, Colo./ThunderRidge H.S.) has pitched 12.1 innings this season, allowing just one unearned run, and earned the team's first save since 2012 on March 23 against Colorado Mines.

Mike Thill (Littleton, Colo./Columbine H.S.) has a 3.00 ERA in his past two starts, spanning 12.0 innings, and he has an 11-5 strikeout/walk ratio during that time.
WEATHER PROBLEMS:
• Metro State's first seven games this season were all cancelled due to snow in both Denver and Kansas.
• The Roadrunners will likely add mid-week games later in the season to make up for those lost to weather early in the season.
