Box Score PUEBLO, Colo. - Colorado State-Pueblo beat Metro State 6-0 on Saturday to earn a four-game sweep in the weekend series. The Roadrunners fell to 10-25 overall, while CSUP improved to 23-18.

The ThunderWolves did all of their damage in the first three innings, scoring two in the first, three in the second and one in the third. That was all starter Victor Soto needed as he held the Roadrunners to three singles in seven innings and struck out five.

Derek Stimpson (Colorado Springs/Doherty H.S.) suffered the loss, striking out four and giving up four earned runs. Ryan Baca (Loveland, Colo./Loveland H.S.), Nic Hansen (Monument, Colo./Palmer Ridge H.S.) and Eli Ford (Casper, Wyo./Kelly Walsh H.S.) combined for three shutout innings of relief.

Darryl Baca (Loveland, Colo./Loveland H.S.), Sean Reeves (Arvada, Colo./Ralston Valley H.S.) and Gavin Purvis (Albuquerque, N.M./Cibola H.S.) each had a hit for Metro State.

The Roadrunners return home on Friday to host Adams State at 3 p.m.
