Derek Stimpson (Colorado Springs/Doherty H.S.) was named RMAC pitcher of the week on Feb. 18 after pitching a complete game shutout against No. 15 St. Mary's (Texas), throwing seven innings and striking out five with just six hits allowed and no walks.

Nick Hammett (Broomfield, Colo./Broomfield H.S.) was named RMAC pitcher of the week on March 4 after pitching a complete game shutout, scattering three hits over nine innings against Colorado State-Pueblo.

Darryl Baca (Loveland, Colo./Loveland H.S.) is batting .475 (19-for-40) with three home runs and two doubles over the past 11 games.

Mitch Gibbons (Franktown, Colo./Ponderosa H.S.) is batting .556 (10-for-18) with three doubles and a home run over the past five games.

Kevin Hand (Highlands Ranch, Colo./ThunderRidge H.S.) did not allow an earned run in his first 15.1 innings this season and has a 0.89 ERA in 20.1 innings.

WEATHER PROBLEMS:
• Metro State's first seven games this season were all cancelled due to snow in both Denver and Kansas.
• The Roadrunners will likely add mid-week games later in the season to make up for those lost to weather early in the season.
