• Metro State went 4-1 against four Lone Star Conference schools in non-conference action Feb. 14-16, with a win over No. 17 Angelo State (17) and its only loss to No. 8 West Texas A&M.

Cassidy Smith (Loveland, Colo./Loveland H.S.) was named RMAC pitcher of the week on Feb. 18 after going 3-0 with a 3.85 ERA in her first three collegiate starts.
•
Aubree Maul (Fort Collins, Colo./Rocky Mountain H.S.) is batting .391 (9-for-23) with three doubles and five RBIs over her current seven-game hitting streak.
• Maul is 8-2 with a 2.27 ERA and a .231 opponent batting average over ther past 11 starts.
•
Britney Thomas (Cheyenne, Wyo./East H.S.) is batting .325 (13-for-40) with six stolen bases over the past 11 games.
•
Colissa Bakovich (Loveland, Colo./Loveland H.S.) is batting .429 (15-for-35) with two doubles and two triples over the past 11 games.

Cassidy Smith (Loveland, Colo./Loveland H.S.) went 2-for-3 at the plate in her first game in the batting lineup on April 18 in Game One vs. Colorado Mines and is 4-for-8 (.500) so far.

Dani Sandel (Omaha, Neb./Westside H.S.) is 5-for-8 over the past two games with three extra-base hits.

Katie Deaguero (Arvada, Colo./Pomona H.S.) had a career-high two hits and hit a two-run home run in Metro State's 9-4 win over Colorado Mines on April 19.

Kaylynn Harmon (Erie, Colo./Erie H.S.) is batting .647 (22-for-34) with 12 extra-base hits and 21 RBIs over the past 12 games and is batting .560 (28-for-50) with 15 extra-base hits over her current 16-game hitting streak.
• Harmon's current 16-game hitting streak is the longest since Tillery's 15-game hitting streak in 2012.

Kelsey Tillery (Windsor, Colo./Windsor H.S.) had a 14-game hitting streak snapped in Game Two against Colorado Mines on April 18.
•
Mary Towner (Arvada, Colo./Ralston Valley H.S.) batted 6-for-14 (.429) in four games last weekend with three extra-base hits.
•
Susie Oury (Arvada, Colo./Arvada West H.S.) is currently out of the lineup with an injury; she batted .374 with 33 runs and 17 stolen bases while starting the first 30 games at shortstop.
• Oury returned to pinch run in three games last weekend and had two steals and three runs scored.
BIGGEST TURNAROUND IN RMAC HISTORY:
• Metro State has an opportunity to make the largest single-season jump in RMAC history after finishing 12th last season.
• A championship would be a +11 move in the standings; the largest jump ever in the RMAC has been +8 (Fort Lewis '11-12, Western N.M. '09-10).
• The best winning percentage improvement was Fort Lewis from 2000-01 (+.600; .000 in '00, .600 in '01).
• Metro State's .303 winning percentage last season could set up the Roadrunners for the second-best winning percentage jump (currently .704, +.401 from last season).
• The second-best winning percentage improvement was +.344 by Adams State (.000 in '99, .344 in '00).
MAUL'S BATTLE WITH CANCER:
•
Aubree Maul (Fort Collins, Colo./Rocky Mountain H.S.) was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer last season on Feb. 5, 2013--the same day she was named RMAC pitcher of the week.
• She completed her final round of chemotherapy during the week of April 15, 2013, and has made a full recovery.
• The team held a T.E.A.L. (Tell Every Amazing Lady) game on April 27 last season against Black Hills State as a fundraiser for Ovarian Cancer.
• Maul is back after earning a medical redshirt and is expected to be the team's No. 1 pitcher and a centerpiece in the batting lineup.
