DENVER — The MSU Denver softball team continued to make its mark in the classroom as the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced its 2026 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes and team GPAs Wednesday afternoon.
The Roadrunners tied for 24th nationally among NCAA Division II softball programs in team GPA, highlighting another strong academic year for the program.
The NFCA recognized 8,850 collegiate student-athletes across its membership categories for earning Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors during the 2025-26 academic year. NCAA Division II accounted for 1,869 of those honorees. To qualify for Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete recognition, student-athletes must achieve at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

The academic recognition adds to a strong tradition of success in the classroom for the Roadrunners, who continue to balance the demands of competing at the NCAA Division II level with their academic pursuits.
The NFCA's annual Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athlete and Team GPA honors recognize softball student-athletes and programs for their academic accomplishments. Team GPAs and individual scholar-athletes are submitted by member head coaches.
