Metro State will wrap up the 2014 season with four games at New Mexico Highlands on Friday and Saturday.

Notes:
•    Derek Stimpson (Colorado Springs/Doherty H.S.) was named RMAC pitcher of the week on Feb. 18 after pitching a complete game shutout against No. 15 St. Mary's (Texas), throwing seven innings and striking out five with just six hits allowed and no walks.
•    Nick Hammett (Broomfield, Colo./Broomfield H.S.) was named RMAC pitcher of the week on March 4 after pitching a complete game shutout, scattering three hits over nine innings against Colorado State-Pueblo.
•    Kris Lalk (Lakewood, Colo./Green Mountain H.S.) was named RMAC pitcher of the week on April 29 after going 2-0 in two relief appearances, allowing zero runs in seven innings, scattering four hits and striking out six.
•    Alex Walker (Wheat Ridge, Colo./Wheat Ridge H.S.) is batting .480 (12-for-25) with a home run over the past eight games.
•    Darryl Baca (Loveland, Colo./Loveland H.S.) is batting .389 (7-for-18) with three home runs and five RBIs over his current five-game hitting streak.
•    Baca homered in three consecutive games against Adams State (May 2-3) the longest home run streak since Jacob Nelson (Lakewood, Colo./Wheat Ridge H.S.) broke the school record by homering in six straight games last season.
•    Kevin Hand (Highlands Ranch, Colo./ThunderRidge H.S.) did not allow an earned run over his first 15.2 innings this season and is 3-2 with a 2.27 ERA in five starts since joining the rotation on March 29.
•    Mitch Gibbons (Franktown, Colo./Ponderosa H.S.) is batting .545 (6-for-11) over his past three games.
•    Nick Comito (Lakewood, Colo./Mullen H.S.) is batting .700 (7-for-10) with a double, three runs scored and three stolen bases over the past three games.
•    Nic Hansen (Monument, Colo./Palmer Ridge H.S.) has not allowed an earned run in 5.1 innings over his past three appearances, allowing just four hits.
•    Ryan Baca (Loveland, Colo./Loveland H.S.) has not allowed a run in 5.2 innings over his last two appearances.
•    Sean Reeves (Arvada, Colo./Ralston Valley H.S.) is batting .405 (15-for-37) over his current 10-game hitting streak.
•    Zac Baldini (Lakewood, Colo./Green Mountain H.S.) is batting .400 (6-for-15) over the past four games.

WEATHER PROBLEMS:
•    Metro State's first seven games this season were all cancelled due to snow in both Denver and Kansas.
•    The Roadrunners will likely add mid-week games later in the season to make up for those lost to weather early in the season.
