Box Score Las Vegas, New Mexico- Metropolitan State University of Denver defeated New Mexico Highlands 2-0 on the road.  The Roadrunners improve to 4-3-4 overall and 3-2-2 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. The Cowgirls fell to 2-7-1 overall and 2-4-0 in conference play.
 
Junior, Elise Boisnard (Denver, Colo./Wheat Ridge H.S.) put the Roadrunners on the board early in the match, scoring in the eighth minute.  Junior Allie Killey (Arvada, Colo./Ralston Valley H.S.) assisted Boisnard in her second goal of the season. MSU Denver went into half time with a 1-0 lead over the Cowgirls.
 
The Roadrunners pressured the cowgirls early in the second half. Boisnard scored her fourth goal of the season to secure the MSU Denver win. The Roadrunners would go on to win 2-0 over the cowgirls.
 
The Roadrunners are back in action Sunday October 9 at CSU Pueblo at 1 p.m.
