Denver- Metropolitan State University of Denver softball will travel to Lakewood, Colo. to take on Colorado Christian in a four-game Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference series on April 2 & 3.
The Roadrunners had to cancel their series with Fort Lewis on March 25 & 26 due to weather in the Denver area last week. They enter the road trip with a record of 21-11 overall and 16-4 in RMAC play, which puts them at second place in the conference behind Colorado Mesa. Colorado Christian was able to avoid the weather this past weekend and won three out of four in Colorado Springs on March 24 & 25 over UCCS and Western New Mexico. Their record currenty sits at 9-27 overall and 8-16 in the RMAC.
The series begins on Saturday, April 2 with a doubleheader at 12 noon then the teams will play two more on Sunday, April 3 at 11 a.m. All games will be played at Lakewood Park.
