Denver- Metropolitan State University of Denver softball will travel to Colorado Springs, Colo. to face off against University of Colorado at Colorado Springs on April 16 & 17 to play four Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Games. The Roadrunners then will travel to Greeley, Colo. for a doubleheader against Nothern Colorado on April 19.
The Roadrunners split a four game series with Regis at home on April 9 & 10 which included two extra-inning games on day two of the series. MSU Denver improved to 26-14 overall and 21-7 in RMAC play. The Roadrunners still hold the second position in the RMAC standings behind Colorado Mesa. UCCS is coming off a four game road series with Colorado Mines where they lost three of the four games. UCCS will enter their series with an overall record of 17-19 and a record of 14-17 in the RMAC. Northern Colorado recently dropped a three game series against Sacramento State. The Bears currently have a record of 4-27 overall this season.
The series against UCCS begins Saturday, April 16 with a doubleheader at 12 noon. The series will resume Sunday, April 17 with another doubleheader scheduled for an 11 a.m. start. The two game series with Northern Colorado will take place Tuesday, April 19 with a doubleheader at 4 p.m.
