Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver softball team's opening round game against CSU-Pueblo on Thursday, April 28 has been delayed until 2:15 p.m. in Grand Junction, Colo. due to weather.
MSU Denver is the two-seed in the tournament, finishing the regular season with a 31-17 overall and 25-9 in the RMAC. MSU Denver defeated the top-seed & host Colorado Mesa twice last weekend and CSU-Pueblo is riding an 11-game winning streak going into the tournament. The winner of the game moves onto play the winner of the UCCS & Chadron State game in the double elimination tournament.
