Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver women's soccer team will host the 2017 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference opening weekend. Friday's game will be against Colorado Mines at 6 p.m. at the Regency Athletic Complex.  The Roadrunners will host Colorado Christian on Sunday, September 17 at 1 p.m.
 
The Roadrunners look to bounce back after suffering two losses last weekend.  MSU Denver fell 2-1 to Seattle Pacific and 1-0 to No.1 Western Washington. The Roadrunners are now 1-3-0 on the season.
 
Colorado Mines are coming off a big weekend as they defeated No. 9 UC San Diego 4-0 and Cal State San Bernadino 1-0.  The Orediggers are 3-1-0 on the season.
 
Colorado Christian women split its games last weekend falling 1-0 to University of Mary but bouncing back to defeat Montana State Billings 2-1.  The Cougars are  2-2-0 this season.
