Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver women's soccer team will continue its 2017 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play this upcoming weekend as they take on Adams State on Friday, September 22 at 4 p.m. They will wrap up the road trip on Sunday against Fort Lewis at 12 p.m.
MSU Denver split its games this past weekend, falling 2-0 late in the game to No. 18 Colorado School of Mines. The team bounced back to defeat Colorado Christian on Sunday, September 17 2-0, for its first 2017 RMAC win. The Roadrunners are now 2-4 overall and 1-1 in conference.
Adams state tied and lost a game this past weekend. The 0-0 draw was against New Mexico Highlands and the loss came to CSU-Pueblo with a 2-1 score. The Grizzlies are 1-2-2 overall and 0-1-1 in RMAC play.
Fort Lewis split its games last weekend, falling in the first one in double overtime to CSU-Pueblo. The Skyhawks bounced back to defeat New Mexico Highlands 1-0. The Skyhawks are 1-3-1 overall and 1-1-0 in conference.
