Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver softball team will travel across town to take on Colorado Christian University in a four game series to be played on Saturday, March 17 and Sunday, March 18. Saturday's double header will begin at 12 noon and Sunday's will begin at 11 a.m.
MSU Denver is coming off a series sweep against Fort Lewis. The Roadrunners held the Skyhawks scoreless in two of the four games and junior
Kylee Burnside (Idaho Falls, Idaho/Skyline H.S.) threw a no-hitter in the team's 8-0 win. The Roadrunners are now 10-14 overall and 7-5 in conference play.
Colorado Christian holds the number two spot in the conference, going undefeated thus far for a 12-0 RMAC record. The Cougars hold an overall record of 19-1.
