Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver softball team will travel to Grand Junction for the 2018 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference tournament on Thursday, May 3 through Saturday, May 5.
MSU Denver will take on Colorado School of Mines in the first game of the tournament. The game will be played on Thursday, May 3 at 1 p.m. The winner will then take on the winner of the No. 1 Colorado Mesa and No. 8 Chadron State. The Roadrunners finished the regular season 33-21 and 28-12 in the RMAC. The team finished the conference season on a six game win streak.
The Roadrunners took on the Orediggers in a four game series April 22-23 and were able to win the series 3-1. Mines is 28-24 overall this season and 22-18 in the RMAC.
