Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver baseball team will travel to Grand Junction for the 2018 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference tournament. The Roadrunners will take on Colorado School of Mines in game one on Wednesday, May 9 at 3 p.m.
MSU Denver comes into the tournament as the number five seed and will take on the No. 2 seed Colorado School of Mines. The Roadrunners are coming off a tough road trip where they fell to the No. 1 seed, Colorado Mesa 0-4 in its four game series. The team finished the regular season with an overall record of 22-26 and conference record of 18-16.
Mines enters the tournament as the No. 2 seed. The Orediggers traveled to Regis last weekend and took three of the four against the Rangers. The team finished the season with an overall record of 32-14 and conference record of 25-11.
