DENVER – The MSU Denver baseball team has announced key upcoming dates to remember for this fall.
Alumni weekend is Sept. 20 and 21. An intrasquad scrimmage is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sept. 20, with an alumni social at 5 p.m. inside the Regency Athletic Complex, followed by alumni batting practice and a home run derby. The golf tournament is scheduled for noon on Sept. 21 at Applewood Golf Course in Golden, Colo.
Meanwhile, fall scrimmages have been scheduled for the Roadrunners' team. MSU Denver faces Garden City (Kan.) Community College at 9 a.m. on Sept. 27, plays Northeastern (Colo.) Junior College at 9 a.m. on Oct. 5, and squares off with Western Nebraska Community College on Oct. 18. The starting time for the matchup with Western Nebraska hasn't been determined. The public is invited to attend the scrimmages.
The Roadrunners' Cary Challenge, the team's competition for conditioning and weightlifting, is from Nov. 18 through Nov. 22. Fans are invited to follow that event on @MSUDenverBSB and @MSUDen_Strength.
