DENVER — Postseason honors continued to roll in for MSU Denver baseball Monday morning as three Roadrunners earned recognition on the Division II Conference Commissioners Association South Central All-Region teams.
Senior designated hitter Royce Vandine earned First Team All-Region honors, while catcher Noah Wicks and starting pitcher Jake Syverson were both selected to the Second Team All-Region squad following standout 2026 campaigns.
The trio helped lead the Roadrunners to a 38-win season and another NCAA Tournament appearance while establishing themselves among the top players in the South Central Region.
Vandine capped off a career-best senior season by earning First Team All-Region honors after becoming one of the premier power hitters in the RMAC.
The First Team All-RMAC selection led MSU Denver in home runs while setting career-highs across the board offensively during his final collegiate season. Vandine consistently delivered in key moments throughout the spring, including one of the most memorable performances of the season against then-No. 1 Colorado Mesa University.
In that matchup, Vandine drove in seven runs to help the Roadrunners snap Colorado Mesa's 24-game winning streak and unbeaten conference record in one of the program's signature victories of the year.
Wicks continued his remarkable breakout season with a Second Team All-Region selection after establishing himself as one of the most dangerous hitters in NCAA Division II.
The First Team All-RMAC catcher led the RMAC in on-base percentage while ranking second in batting average and third in OPS. He also finished among the conference leaders in doubles, runs scored and total hits while serving as the centerpiece of the Roadrunners' offense throughout the season.
Nationally, Wicks ranked third in Division II with a .456 batting average and produced multiple dominant stretches at the plate. He recorded a 17-game hitting streak and a 36-game on-base streak, both the longest by a Roadrunner during the 2026 season.
Wicks also registered multiple five-hit performances and became the only player in the RMAC to tally six hits in a single game this year.
On the mound, Syverson emerged as one of the conference's most reliable starters and earned Second Team All-Region honors after anchoring the Roadrunners' pitching staff throughout the spring.
The First Team All-RMAC right-hander led the RMAC in both innings pitched (76.1) and strikeouts (61), showcasing his durability and consistency throughout conference play and the postseason.
Syverson also ranked third in the conference in ERA (6.01), opponent batting average (.283) and wins (six), helping guide MSU Denver back to the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive season.
The all-region selections added another layer to an already successful season for the Roadrunners, who reached the NCAA South Central Regional and continued one of the strongest stretches in program history with their fourth NCAA Tournament appearance in the last five seasons.
