DENVER - MSU Denver women's soccer coach Tracy Chao has announced that three student-athletes have signed letters of intent to join the program from the fall, 2021 season.

Coach Heather Solar, Broomfield Soccer Club: "Kylie is the backbone of our team. As the team's captain, she demonstrates integrity, determination and consistency. Her work rate and desire to improve is second to none. She is excellent coming off her line and blocking any shot that comes her way. Kylie has a bright future ahead of her! Congrats to Kylie!

High school:
•   Two-time All-Colorado 7 selection
•   Team captain
•   Team most valuable player
•   Had a 2.60 goals-against average as a sophomore in 2019 after record a 1.26 GPA in 2018 as a freshman
•   Selected to all-star game in basketball
•   After 5.6 points and 5.1 rebounds as a junior in 2019-20 basketball season
•   Earned multiple academic letters

Coach Jim Hunter, Broomfield Soccer Club: "Tessa is a crafty, skilled wing attacker with speed, quickness, and the mentality to create and score goals.  Her work rate on and off ball is tremendous. Tessa has the knack to score goals when the game is on the line and will frustrate RMAC defenses for the next four years!  She was a three-year captain for her club team and will be a great asset to the MSU Denver program."

High school:
•   Team captain as a sophomore and junior
•   Two-time All-Front Range League honorable mention selection
•   In two seasons, has 20 goals and 12 assists in 26 games
•   As a sophomore in 2019, had 11 goals and seven assists in 13 games.
•   As a freshman in 2018, had nine goals and five assists in 13 games
•   Golden Boot Award as a sophomore
•   Rapids Indoor Showcase all-star player
•   Two-year letterwinner in cross country
•   Three-time academic honor roll selection
 
Club: 
•   Captain when playing for Colorado Rush, Storm North and Broomfield Blast
•   Played for Broomfield Blast team in 2019 that finished first at the Indianapolis Showcase, first at the Colorado Showcase of the Rockies, and reached the semifinals of the State Cup
 
Personal:
•   Brother, Brant, is a jumper on the MSU Denver men's track & field team

Coach Summer Anderson, Arizona Arsenal ECNL: "Emi is has a soccer IQ that is off the charts. Her composure on the ball paired with her range of passing, vision and work rate makes her a dynamic and consistent presence on the field. She is a first class young woman. The Roadrunner program got a great one!"

High school: 
·      Had one goal and one assist for 16-3-2 Pumas as a junior during the 2019-20 season
·      Four-year member of the honor roll, with a 4.1 grade-point average

·      Played for Arsenal team that qualified for the ECNL regionals
