DENVER – The MSU Denver women's soccer team has earned the fifth seed for the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournament and will play its first-round game Sunday at fourth-seeded Westminster.
MSU Denver finished the regular season 11-3-4 overall and 7-2-3 in RMAC play.
The Roadrunners tied Westminster 1-1 in their regular-season meeting on Sept. 15 at the Assembly Athletic Complex.
MSU Denver tied with Colorado Mesa for fifth place in the regular season with 24 standings points, but the Roadrunners earned the fifth seed on a tiebreaker, their 1-0 win over Mesa during the regular season.
