DENVER – MSU Denver men's soccer coach
Nick Kirchhof has announced a 10-player recruiting class that will join the Roadrunners for the 2022 season.
"I'm excited about this class," Kirchhof said. "We got to watch them for a full year. I think it's a good mix of guys both from here in Colorado who were top youth players as well as some transfer students and guys from outside of the region. I'm excited to bring these guys in and see how they mix with the guys we already have."
The list includes seven players who attended high school in Colorado, with four of those having played with Real Colorado MLS Next and three from that group on the same team. Players also hail from as far away as Florida, Louisiana and Nevada, and couldn't be much closer than another who will be joining his brother on the MSU Denver roster.
"What we wanted to do was make the squad competitive at every position," Kirchhof said. "These guys will be up to that challenge. All of them have been playing at a high level and are players who have a chance to push their way into the starting group. We're definitely getting good depth, but we're also adding quality."
