DENVER — MSU Denver men's soccer added two more major achievements to its standout 2025 campaign Friday afternoon, as senior goalkeeper Nick McNeil and redshirt junior midfielder Charlie Matsumoto were both named to the prestigious Academic All-RMAC First Team.
McNeil (3.82 GPA in Management) and Matsumoto (3.97 GPA in Finance) were two of just 13 student-athletes across the entire conference selected to the first team, highlighting their excellence both on the pitch and in the classroom. Matsumoto's GPA also ranked among the highest of any honoree in the RMAC.
Their selections headlined a strong academic showing for the Roadrunners, who placed 14 student-athletes on the RMAC Academic Honor Roll, tied for the third-most in the conference. To qualify, athletes must hold a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher in the most recently completed term and play a significant role on their team.
MSU Denver's Academic Honor Roll recipients include:
- Dallas Baer (Sr., Finance)

- Cullen Freeman (Jr., Economics)
